Dropping into 2005 with a bang, our release of the club hit ‘See the Light' by Paradise was quite some debut!

Since then we've hardly had time to catch our breath, with a roster of acts that is developing as rapidly as the label itself.
Now into 2008, exclusive Turbulence label mates include Future Freakz, Digital Devotion, Paradise, Trinity, Pulsonix, Ultimate Devotion and a whole host of others and as always, we have some massive releases planned for the months ahead…

Rus has quite a history. After various roles in the industry, his role within Turbulence sees him being responsible for overseeing the general day-to-day running and organisation of the label. This includes promotion co-ordination, co-handling A&R and scheduling releases.

Beginning his career in the industry a decade ago, Rus became promoter and resident DJ for a successful event brand on the south coast - which is a project he devoted himself to for five years. During his time in this position he gathered knowledge from the people around him and quickly got a taste for working full time in the business during the nightclub boom that arose in the late nineties.

These days Rus still lives & breathes the business and is busy running the label, producing under the Future Freakz moniker with his production partner and running his ‘Lose Control’ parties in the capital!

Now not so fresh out of Uni after completing her music degree, Joelle is an integral part of the Turbulence stable! Joelle's role sees her managing all aspects of the Turbulence office, which isn’t an easy job we can tell you!

She is also involved in the club scene, with her Dj'ing at various venues in London & beyond and has recently begun producing some hot House music.

Born in Manchester in 1971, his love of music began from an early age, getting into the Hip Hop and Break Dance scene in the 1980' s & loving the combination of rap, bass and hard hitting beats. But then he heard ‘Chaka Khan – Ain' t Nobody' on import, the high powered vocals combined with synth melody and an upbeat backing track was truly uplifting. Robs passion for Dance Music was set in motion and his dream was to one day become a successful writer and producer and work within the Dance Music Industry.

Rob has already set himself a standard for any future signings to Turbulence. His tenacious attitude in this competitive industry is already paying off, with his debut signing of 'Daybreaker' for Turbulence being a single from one of the UK' s hottest remixers; Kenny Hayes. Now he continues to work closely alongside the rest of the team as they turn their attention to picking up more big records & future anthems!

Handling the Turbulence internal press department, Jon has an extensive history within the industry. Working closely in press/media for a number of years, Jon has done it all, from presenting one of the UKs most popular clubbing programmes, to covering tours with the likes of Ian Van Dahl around the UK and beyond.

His role within Turbulence see's him co-handling all press requirements, along with liaising with external departments during our release campaigns and generally working too bloody hard!
