Renowned as a two part tour de force and responsible for creating quite possibly some of the most driving House and Electro in clubland, introducing the energetic DJ and production partnership of Rus Turbulence and Vince Nysse aka the Future Freakz!
Their work as DJs/Producers and collective industry knowledge from the last decade, combined with a passion and a long standing love for all things House has resulted in their collaboration as recording artists and a touring double act.
Whether seriously focussed on their production in the studio building minimal, but at the same time catchy uplifting Electro House music or making appearances at some of the finest events in the land, the boys just can't get enough right now! With remix work a plenty & gaining momentum and their singles ‘A Week Ago’ & ‘Are You Ready?' doing the damage out in clubland right now; not to mention some of the biggest names in clubland charting their tracks (including Space resident Jonathan Ulysses), 2007 looks set to be a great year for the Future Freakz.
Add to this the recent licensing of one their remixes to industry God Carl Cox’s latest mix album along with ITV’s Clublife having hailed them as one of “the future heroes of Electro House” and you could say that these boys have made a flying start.
German born Daniel Bottner, is the 29 year old brainchild behind hot German dance act Digital Devotion! Music has always been Daniel’s passion, inspired as a teenager by the works of Frankie Knuckles, Mike Dunn and Stacy Kidd. At an early age Daniel hit on full time DJ’ing & soon became the resident of the infamous Starboogienight Crew, hosting parties at key locations all over Germany.
It was thanks to the Starboogienight events that Daniel had the opportunity to play at pretty much every club in the local scene, which lead to him becoming a regular face at the frontline of the busy German clubbing and nightlife ethos. It was from here that he would use this opportunity to project himself to a much bigger platform playing House music right across the country.
In 2004 his studio work really took off, producing material signed to Disco Galaxy Records and Deepless Recordings under the moniker Naked Funk, which then allowed him to work closely in 2006 with fellow German producer and vocalist Pit Bailey (of Andrew Spencer Feat. Pit Bailay "I'll Be Ready" fame).
This consistent unity with well established labels, vocalists and producers resulted in the conception of Digital Devotion under which Daniel now produces regularly.
Not wanting to restrict himself to the confines of his home territory, Daniel sent his work to various global A&R departments with a vested interest in cutting a deal with an overseas label. After much negotiation, it would be UK based independent dance label Turbulence, responsible for club hits from Paradise, Future Freakz, Nysse & Hinton and Audiolush amongst others that would bite on their first original single project together, the infectious, catchy and very credible House offering – “Heaven”.
Watch this space!
Turbulence are proud to present Trinity, a dance act with all the right ingredients to create a brilliant fusion between synth led Trance and driving vocals. Their first single on Turbulence, “Like the Sun” is a testament to this and looks set for great things!
Trinity are Steve Cox, Chris Mather, Steve Frankland and vocalist Danielle; all of which have been involved in the music industry in some shape or form for quite some time. Steve Cox and Steve Frankland originally started their careers in music by playing together in an acid jazz group back in the mid nineties; it was from this that they first discovered that their passion for music and mutual creativity would lead them to a string of radio play and a series of sell-out gigs, including one in particular whereby the boys shared the same bill as Hut Records’ ‘Space’.
Chris Mather joined the collective group at a later stage in all of their careers and was introduced via Steve Frankland. This fateful meeting would lead them, plus a female vocalist to form a group named Liquid Heat. In their nightclub inspired guise as Liquid Heat, the guys all pooled their music industry experiences into their valuable work on the infamous BT ‘Get Out There’ website project, early in the millennium and became an unparalleld success. During their dance fuelled blaze of glory on the site, the group managed to achieve three ‘Get Out There’ number ones (not an easy feat by any means) and a long standing record number of downloads for any one track.
Following regular Saturday night radio plays on the North West’s biggest radio station, Radio City, vocalist Danielle, a regular listener at the time, approached the lads with a view to recording vocals for some of their ongoing projects. As luck would have it, an audition with the group inspired them to take on Danielle on a more permanent basis than was originally assumed.
Now with the addition of Danielle, Trinity was born and the rest is history...
Paradise consists of four key members Rob Grice (Producer/Writer), Stuart Connor (Producer/Writer), Andre Pascal (Producer/Writer) and Mandy Edge (Vocalist/Writer). Beginning initially with just Rob, Paradise's Career started with a demo track Rob had managed to get aired in a busy nightclub. And it just so happened that fellow songwriter and producer Stuart was in the crowd and promptly enquired about the tune. Stu was pointed in Rob's direction and a
unique partnership was born.
The lads went into production overdrive, utilising BT's 'Get Out There' Website, (developed to showcase new talent in all guises) Rob and Stu had several online No.1 tracks, which then received support from radio, with Ian Roberts on 97.4 Rock FM supporting them on his 'Planet Dance' show every Saturday.. Rob and Stuart went on to sign their first Record Deal with “I Want Everything” which was signed to German Label; ‘Upbeat Records’ which charted across Europe and appeared on several European dance compilation.
But it wasn’t long before they were signing their second record deal to 5050 Records with another Club Hit “Rising Sun”. Both “Rising Sun & I Want Everything” went on to get nation-wide airing in the UK, courtesy of an appearance on the Daily Star's cover mount 'Magnificent 7' CD, compiled by Essential Clubbing writer Andros Gergiou and to top it all off, the successful nationwide newspaper also used “Rising Sun” as the key track on a TV campaign to promote the paper. The track's popularity grew with further use of the tune in Film Four's production 'Principles Of Lust' and a plethora of support from DJ's such as Armin Van Burren, Danny Slade and Galaxy's Alex Pepper giving it the required slamming and encouraging clubber support. “Rising Sun” also charted at No.37 in the Top 40 Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play Charts in the States, earning it a place on Dance Essentials Vol.3 mixed by legendary DJ Dave Matthias.
It wasn’t long before Rob and Stuart came across the vocal talents of Manchester based singer/songwriter Mandy Edge who was already making a name for herself in the dance scene; they recorded "Im Alive", which was snapped up by 5050 Records. Slamming them straight in at No.10 in the Music Week Upfront Club Chart, this secured Mandy as a permanent member of Paradise, and leading the now threesome on a tour of PA's across the country. During this time, Rob had contacted Andre Pascal, a Dutch producer who had an incredible amount of success in the Dutch dance scene. After weeks of phone calls and hours of studio time; 'See The Light' was born, which was then brought to the attention of 'Turbulence' Label Manager, Russell Biles; who then signed Paradise exclusively to Turbulence. Rob and Stu now content with both the deal and the way the track was being commercially handled, now welcomed Andre as a permanent member, making Paradise complete!
Now firmly rested with 'Turbulence', Paradise have taken stock of their collected success throughout club land, local, national and international dance charts, compilation albums and record labels and are more than ready for commercial chart success with their own material and remix work for other artists.
Starting life as a drummer, it was not until his early teens that Vince began to develop a love of Dance music which led to DJing. Gradually as he progressed through mixing all styles, he found his love for hard dance. A couple of years on, he started to acquire residencies, playing from his home town and across the South Coast to London. After mastering production skills and teaching himself basic piano techniques, Vince then started to invest in studio equipment and taught himself how to engineer & produce, by reading as many books as possible, and watching/ listening to his piers.
At 18 yrs of age, Neo records snapped him up with his first signing entitled ‘SoundScape’. This was supported on Radio One by Judge Jules. It made it onto numerous comps including ‘Neo Love Trance. This then lead to remixing for the likes of Recover/Nukleuz.
At 20 yrs of age, Vince started working with Chris Hampshire. DJ Tiesto heard one of their tracks entitled ‘Eternal Voices’ and signed it straight away to his label: ‘Blackhole Recordings’, UK & HOLLAND. This received a Tiesto & Airwave remix. Once again, Judge Jules gave major support on all mixes. Vince continued to work on the commercial side with Hampshire, whilst still doing his tougher productions in his own studio.
Soon after, Vince was responsible for creating a dance floor frenzy around the Uk by bootlegging the piano section from the O2 advert. Judge Jules played this summer stormer 7 weeks in a row on Radio One, and on the final week, it received Tried & Tested. With this, Incentive Records contacted Vince for a signing. Unfortunately, the sample could not be cleared. Vince re-worked the track and transformed it into ‘So Much’. This was a summer smash and made it onto the Ministry Spring Summer Annual 2004 comp. Incentive then asked Vince to remix Candee Jay – ‘Back for Me’. The remix received record of the week on Paul Kershaw’s radio show - galaxy FM, and got a battering from Dave Pearce.
Now at the age of 23, Vince is working with the likes of Vinylgroover, amongst various others and has now joined Turbulence! With the remixes of TRINITY (Like The Sun) and LASGO (All Night Long) to his name, Vince’s principal focus is to continue his determination and motivation to remain on the cutting edge of his music and projects.
Andre Pascal is not only signed to Turbulence as a member of successful dance act Paradise, he is also an accomplished remixer and DJ in his own right. He started out as a DJ in the late 80's for a big club night in Holland, and every weekend drew massive crowds with his mixing techniques and the different styles of music he played. Andre soon made a name for himself on the Dutch club scene, and it wasn't long before he was playing sets alongside DJs such as Tiesto. Andre started producing, by remixing popular tracks for his special monthly event at the club, these went down a storm and lots of people would ask where they could buy the remixes from. It was at this point Andre realised that it was time to make his own productions and he contacted some of the A&R managers, from the big record companies in Holland.
It was in the early 90's Andre released his first tracks which were big hits, in the Dutch Happy Hardcore scene. Soon there were more releases in lots of different styles like the more mellow sound of the nineties and he even made some big Hardcore productions for other artists. Success was sweet with lots of remixes and productions coming out of Andre's studio. In 1996 he decided to take a step back to give his own music the attention he thought was needed. In the period from 1996 till 2000 he worked very hard to create his own sound.
Some of the test records were released in the underground scene to pilot the new sound. In 2000 Andre started remixing again for other artists, by introducing them to his own unique style and by promoting this new sound through the internet. It wasn't long before his talents were noticed by the guys from Paradise. After doing some remix work for them, they decided to collaborate; the results of their first project produced 'See The Light'. The productions of Paradise, with the added sound Andre brought with him fitted together perfectly and it was then that Paradise asked Andre to become a permanent member of their group. It wasn't long before Turbulence recognised the talents of Paradise and signed them exclusively to the label.
In the meantime Andre is involved in lots of other projects including Disco, Ambient and Vocal Trance. 'Pulsonix' is his latest project where he collaborates with another Dutch producer Qui Robinez. Pulsonix has also just signed to Turbulence. Andre is strongly influenced by artists like Paul Van Dyk, Chicane, Above and Beyond, Incognito, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Andre is a versatile artist skilled in many musical styles; his favourite styles are Trance, House, Jazz and Ambient.
Watch out for him!!!

In 2000 Sunset Regime decided to take a break from the dance industry and traveled abroad to study another passion of his; reptiles and arthropods! This didn't last too long however...he missed his one true love...the beats and the bass!
2003 has seen him return with his partner Supreme to mix up Trance and Hardcore rhythms and create a blend of what he calls; "kick and stab mayhem!"
